The newly renovated and refurbished Lake Placid Club Lodges is a "sold-out" resort. This limits the purchase of a timeshare vacation week at our Resort to a purchase from a current owner and means that there are only a few weeks available for sale at any given time.
There are 35 units located in seven buildings on the Lake Placid Club Lodges property. Three buildings are located on the golf course and offer mountain views. These are Marcy Lodge, units 1-5, with a Saturday arrival, Iroquois Lodge, units 6-10, with a Sunday arrival, and Colden Lodge, units 11-15, with a Friday arrival. Facing the golf house is Mt. Jo Lodge, units 36-40, with a Saturday arrival. Located in the interior of the property, offering the greatest of privacy, are Saddleback Lodge, units 26-30, with a Sunday arrival and Cascade Lodge, units 31-35, with a Friday arrival. Facing Mirror Lake is Wolf Jaw Lodge, units 61-65, with a Friday arrival.
The timeshare intervals at Lake Placid Club Lodges are ''fixed'' weeks, in that you own a specific week in a specific lodge. We do not have "float" time or revolving times. The lodge you purchase is the one you will use each year. The start date of each week is based on the RCI exchange calendar, the standard calendar used by the majority of time-share resorts throughout the world. A copy may be obtained from our sales office.
Ownership at the Lake Placid Club Lodges is "fee simple" meaning owners receive a deed, which has no time restriction, is fully willable, and can be used as equity property.
Owners in good standing are members of the Lake Placid Club Lodges Owners' Association and have voting rights equal to their ownership percentage.
The Annual Membership Meeting is held each year in Lake Placid on the last Saturday in October, at which time owners vote for candidates to sit on the Board of Directors, participate in an active question and answer session with the Board and vote on other issues brought to the membership.
